According to IT Home, the full-size 800S crossover and large 900S sedan debuted on March 3. Their market entry is scheduled for 2027, initially the cars will only be available in Vietnam.
It is noted that the new models are designed to demonstrate the technological maturity of the company. Lac Hong cars will receive a power plant with three electric motors with a total power of up to 625 hp. Details about the power reserve and charging time have not yet been disclosed.
The design of the cars is made in a single key, combining rigor with national motifs. Characteristic features are a massive radiator grille, the vertical stripes of which look like Vietnamese bamboo. On the hood there is a figurine of the Lak bird, referencing national mythology. In general, the cars resemble Rolls-Royce in appearance.
Natural wood and gilding were used in the interior decoration, but the creators abandoned many “fashionable” solutions, for example, a monitor for the front passenger.
The list of equipment will include automatic doors, seats with a zero-gravity effect and active air suspension.
The more expensive 900S sedan will additionally receive a partition with electrochromic glazing between the rows and folding tables for rear passengers.
It was previously reported that UAZ would rename the SUV for the first time in the history of the Hunter model.
