As the Mash Telegram channel learned, the production of luxury cars at the site in the Alabuga special economic zone is currently temporarily suspended. This is necessary to reconfigure capacities for the release of deeply updated versions, which should appear no earlier than 2027.
The changes will affect not only the technical content, but also the appearance. It is expected that the cars will receive a new body, modern lighting solutions and a completely redesigned interior with next-generation technologies. Upgrades to the powertrain and electronic systems are also possible.
Now the minimum price for Aurus is about 48 million rubles. After the release of updated models in 2027, the starting price tag, according to preliminary data, could range from 55 to 58 million rubles. At the same time, the plant continues to fulfill individual orders that have already been placed.
The waiting period for new cars is about six months; those who managed to order a 2025 car will receive it faster – within three to four months. According to Mash, it was not possible to obtain immediate comment from official representatives of the enterprise at the time of publication.
