Premium brand Denza (part of BYD) has shown what its new high-performance electric station wagon Z9 GT will look like. According to data from the company’s social networks, the travel range on one charge according to the CLTC standard will be 1036 km. This was reported by Electrek.
According to documents from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published last month, the Denza Z9 GT electric car will be available in two versions with battery capacities of 102.326 kWh and 122.496 kWh. According to the CLTC system, this will provide a range of 820 to 1036 km.
Notably, the standard version of the Z9, using the same batteries, is capable of providing a CLTC range of up to 1,068 km. This would allow the model to take the position of the leader in range among electric vehicles, but Denza has not yet made official statements in this regard.
The new generation Denza Z9 GT will be available in two versions: fully electric (EV) and hybrid (PHEV). The updated PHEV versions feature a battery capacity of 63.82 kWh, providing an electric range of over 400 km on the CLTC cycle – almost double that of the current Denza Z9 GT PHEV (201 km).
The interior of the luxury station wagon is equipped with a large 17.3‑inch central touchscreen, as well as two 12.3‑inch displays on the dashboard on the driver and passenger sides. The overall dimensions of the model are: length – 5195 mm, width – 1990 mm, height – 1480 mm, wheelbase – 3125 mm. These parameters are comparable to the dimensions of the Porsche Panamera.
Previously, the most popular configurations of the updated Haval H3 were named.
