It is expected that the range of engines will include both traditional gasoline engines and hybrid power plants that can provide the necessary traction on off-road terrain.
It is noteworthy that BMW is not the only premium brand targeting the niche of the legendary G-Class. According to industry sources, Audi and Genesis are developing similar projects in various stages of completion.
