The Japanese automaker continues to gradually improve its flagship minivan, which debuted in the current generation in 2023. The next package of improvements affected the details that shape the level of comfort in expensive versions of the car.

The changes affected primarily the four-seat Executive version with luxurious captain’s chairs and a wood-trimmed ceiling console. When you open the sliding doors in the car, the lighting now turns on, covering the area for boarding and disembarking passengers. In the cabin, the design of the refrigerator located in the partition between the front and rear seats has been improved: the bottle holders have wavy dividers that secure containers of different sizes and prevent them from touching while driving.

The rear console has updated USB-C ports – their total power has been increased to 60 W, which allows you to charge not only smartphones, but also laptops. To reduce noise levels in the cabin, engineers used tires with a new tread pattern, which complements the measures taken to improve vibration isolation taken a year earlier.

The power plant remains unchanged: the LM500h is equipped with a hybrid system based on a 2.4-liter turbo engine and two electric motors. Its total power is 366 horsepower. The transmission is a six-speed automatic, the drive is all-wheel drive.

In Japan, the updated Lexus LM500h has already arrived at dealers. The cost of the six-seat Version L version starts at 15.2 million yen (7.7 million rubles), the four-seat Executive version is estimated at 20.3 million yen (10.2 million rubles). Prices have increased by 200 thousand yen (100.7 thousand rubles) compared to previous versions.
