Powerful laser emitters of green and red colors appeared on the M-1 highway “Brest – Minsk – Russian Border”. You can see the systems in operation every night – from 23:00 to 5:00 – near the city of Dzerzhinsk (322nd km) and the village of Privolny (365th km).
The locations of the systems were determined based on an analysis of accident rates associated with a decrease in driver concentration due to fatigue.
The authors of the idea are confident that bright laser beams will act as a psychological “alarm clock” when the bright beams will make tired drivers cheer up.
As the Minskaya Pravda publication notes, when driving through this area at night, it is simply impossible not to notice the bright glow – it really “breaks through” the sleepy state.
The Belarusian “Luch” has developed a special watch for taxi drivers. The Russians have named tires that are not recommended for use on a crossover. A former Toyota plant is setting up production of a new model.
Meanwhile, in Belarus, a luxurious Rolls‑Royce Ghost can be bought for 7 million rubles, but there is a nuance.
