According to the documentation, it is planned to sell a wide range of vehicles under the Corolla brand: SUVs, buses, trucks, electric cars and other types of vehicles.
Despite leaving the Russian market, the company continues to protect its assets in the country. Earlier this year, Toyota already registered such trademarks in the Russian Federation as Wigo, Avensis, Crown Signia, Verso and Lexus.
Currently, the Japanese concern is represented in Russia by its subsidiary Toyota Motor. The organization’s financial performance has decreased significantly: if in 2021 revenue was 332 billion rubles, then at the end of 2024 it decreased to 7.2 billion. The company’s profit over the past year reached 2.5 billion rubles.
