Representatives of The Drive magazine drew attention to the equipment of the company Siberian All-Terrain Vehicles, capable of moving on tires with a diameter of up to 57 inches and controlled using a motorcycle handlebar.
The Big Profi model is 4.2 meters long, 2.45 meters wide and 1.95 meters high. The curb weight is 1.5 tons. Under the hood is a 2.4-liter Honda K24A gasoline engine with a power of 200 hp, which is usually installed in the Accord in the USA. It is paired with a Honda automatic transmission, and also uses differentials and steering from a Mitsubishi Pajero.
The manufacturer’s line also includes smaller models – the Profi Mini, as well as pickup and buggy versions. All of them are equipped with Honda and Toyota engines, which, like other components, are often taken from used cars.
The authors of The Drive note that such truck-sized vehicles correspond to the scale of Russian open spaces, and the lack of a wide selection of traditional pickups against the backdrop of sanctions restrictions makes such equipment in demand.
