The authors were specialists from the Hakobanya studio. The project is called 70 BOX (or “70Yo.70 Destroyer,” reports the Carscoops portal.
The tuners have completely redesigned the front end of the Toyota Probox: round LED headlights, a honeycomb grille, a massive bumper made of unpainted plastic, as well as extended front fenders and a new hood have appeared. The design closely copies the style of the Land Cruiser 70 model.
To make the image complete, the car received a plastic body kit around the perimeter, a suspension lift, off-road tires and a roof rack. The rear part was modified no less carefully: the original lights were hidden under the overlays, replacing them with rectangular blocks in the new bumper.
Despite the harsh appearance, the technical content remained standard. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 107 hp. or hybrid installation. The gearbox is a variator, the drive can be front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Tuners emphasize that for such a project it is more logical to choose an all-wheel drive version.
A finished car, taking into account the price of the donor (a new Probox costs from $12 thousand to $14.2 thousand, that is, 1.02-1.21 million rubles) can be purchased from the studio for approximately $24.2 thousand (about 2.06 million rubles).
