The premiere will take place on April 1, reports the Carscoops portal. Judging by the circulated photo, the crossover will receive a front end familiar from the Solterra model with separate LED optics, a luminous logo, roof rails and a shark fin antenna.

Subaru’s new electric car will apparently be a redesigned version of the Toyota Highlander EV. It is expected that the crossover will receive batteries with a capacity of 77 and 95.8 kWh, and the range will be from 435 to 515 km. The top version with all-wheel drive will produce 420 hp. – this is noticeably more than the Highlander EV (338 hp). NACS fast charging will allow you to replenish the charge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

The cabin will feature a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14-inch multimedia system screen. Sales of the Toyota Highlander EV will start at the end of 2026, which means Subaru will present its version around the same time.

The new product will be the largest electric vehicle in Subaru history and will join the family of models produced in collaboration with Toyota.
