This is how much a brand new flagship iPhone costs. The car for this amount will be produced in 2006-2007. However, any budget vehicle requires attention and care, so when choosing, it is important to look not only at the car, but also at its previous owner.

Third place went to the 2006-2007 Hyundai Accent sedan. Under the hood of most of these cars is a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter engine producing 102 hp. The engine is generally reliable and only annoys us with small things, such as floating idle speed.

The timing belt requires replacement every 50 thousand kilometers; if it breaks, it bends the valves. There are hydraulic compensators, but after 200 thousand mileage they may require replacement. The five-speed manual transmission is not the most durable, but the classic four-speed automatic transmission is reliable when changing the oil every 60-80 thousand kilometers, noted Za Rulem magazine expert Alexander Vinogradov.

In second place is the Ford Focus II in hatchback, sedan or station wagon. For 250 thousand rubles it is possible to find a pre-restyling copy from 2006-2007. The optimal choice is the base 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 100 hp. It does not shine with dynamics, but reliability is in perfect order.

The main thing is to change the timing belt every 80-90 thousand kilometers on time and not save on fuel. The five-speed “mechanics” with the base engine feels good, and the four-speed “automatic” with regular oil changes every 50-70 thousand kilometers can last up to 350-400 thousand kilometers.

The undisputed leader of the rating was Lada Priora. For the same money you can find a more recent car from 2013-2014. Sixteen-valve 1.6 engine with 98 hp. generally reliable, but the weak point is the water pump, which rarely runs more than 80 thousand kilometers. Its jamming leads to a break in the timing belt.

Mechanical boxes on cars of later releases began to work much more smoothly and last longer, the expert said.

Earlier, Russo-Balt spoke about the transmission of the new crossover.
