The world premiere of the model will take place in April 2026 at the Beijing Auto Show. According to Carnewschina, the start of sales is planned for the first half of 2026.
The wheelbase of the iX3 with the Long Wheelbase attachment is 3005 mm. For comparison: the global model has a body length of 4780 mm, a width of 1895 mm, a height of 1635 mm, and a wheelbase of 2895 mm.
Externally, the iX3 Long Wheelbase largely follows the design of the global version, but has a number of differences. Key elements include “Digital Angel Wing” daytime running lights and a “3D Luminous Grille” grille. The “Brilliance BMW” and “iX350L” nameplates appeared on the stern, confirming local production. The rear camera is integrated into the roof spoiler.
The interior is designed in accordance with the current BMW design philosophy and features a panoramic roof with sunshade. For the Chinese market, the company, together with Alibaba, has developed a special technology based on a large language model. The system has received integration with DeepSeek AI models and supports the HarmonyOS ecosystem, as well as Huawei HiCar services.
The 108 kWh battery, combined with front and rear electric motors, produces 345 kW (463 hp) and 645 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.9 seconds.
The range exceeds 900 km, energy consumption is stated at 15.1 kWh per 100 km. Fast charging allows you to replenish 427 km of range in just 10 minutes.
