In 2026, BYD is launching two new products on the market: the all-electric Seal 06 GT and the plug-in hybrid Seal 06 DM-i Touring. Both models are available in four trim levels. Prices for the Seal 06 GT start from 18.7 thousand dollars (about 1.5 million rubles), and for a station wagon – from 16.2 thousand dollars (about 1.3 million rubles). CarNewsChina reports this.
All 2026 Seal 06 GT models receive second-generation Blade batteries and fast charging. In addition, BYD updated data on the “Dream Charging Station Construction Plan”: 42.7 thousand applications were received, 2,585 “dreams” of users were realized, 182 stations were built. The company plans to deliver the first batch of 1,000 high-speed stations by May 1.
The updated 2026 BYD Seal 06 GT retains a design inspired by the Ocean-M concept. Distinctive features are narrow headlights, a three-section air intake and many raised lines on the hood. New body colors have appeared: purple “Aurora” and red “Portia Rose”. Model dimensions: length – 4630 mm, width – 1880 mm, height – 1490 mm, wheelbase – 2820 mm.
The interior of the BYD Seal 06 GT is designed in the brand’s signature style: a 15.6-inch central display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel. In keeping with modern electric vehicle trends, the gear selector has been moved to the steering column, and the buttons on the center console have been redesigned for a more cohesive look.
