In the first quarter of 2026, 2,773 new Mercedes-Benz passenger cars were registered in Russia – 82% more than in the same period last year (1,305 units). The head of the analytical agency Avtostat, Sergei Tselikov, reported this on his Telegram channel.
“The most popular Mercedes among Russians remains the G-class crossover – the expensive, brutal Geländewagen. In three months, 404 units were recorded. In second place is the GLS crossover (348 units). Next comes the GLE crossover (332 units) and the E-class business sedan (321 units). The top 5 is completed by another crossover, but simpler than the GLC (297 units),” the expert noted.
According to him, deliveries of new Mercedes-Benz to Russia are carried out via alternative routes. Moreover, 85% of cars are produced in Germany.
