The regular Ford Explorer, after modifications, became the Explorer Van commercial van in Europe. Looks like a police car, but is built for cargo – like a small Transit. Carscoops reports this.

The regular Explorer was modified at the British Ford Pro center: a stationary partition was installed behind the front seats. Now this is not a passenger vehicle, but a commercial vehicle.

The Explorer Van is equipped with a flat floor, hooks and dividers. An optional Utility Pack adds front and roof racks, seat covers and a rear window net.

Ford also offers a stripped-down version of the Explorer Van with a commercial package that includes an amber light bar, tailgate work lights and strobe lights. A household essentials package is also available – a fire emergency kit and an eye wash and hand sanitizer station.
