As the head of the state company Vyacheslav Petushenko said in an interview with TASS, the functionality of photo and video recording cameras will be expanded on the vehicles of emergency commissioners.

“We use AI to analyze the traffic situation. Emergency commissioners are helping – there are now 164 crews. The emergency response vehicles are equipped with photo-video recording systems (four pieces) that record significant speeding on the M-4 Don, M-11 Neva and M-12 Vostok. This year we will expand the capabilities – the complexes will detect stopping on the side of the road, drivers without seat belts and the use of a phone while driving,” he said.

Petushenko noted that by the end of 2025, the accident rate on Avtodor highways decreased by 11.4% while the network grew by almost a thousand kilometers, and the number of deaths decreased by 18%.

Speaking about other measures to improve safety, the head of the company recalled the introduction of musical markings: since 2024, they have been applied to M-11, and last year they appeared in three areas in the Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir regions. To hear the famous “Kalinka-Malinka” on such a section, you need to drive at the permitted speed, and since the marking was applied, not a single accident has been recorded on these sections of the M-12.
