From now on, you can place a pre-order for minivans and vans of the new SKM M7 brand on the Lada brand website, reports the AvtoVAZ press service. This is the first model of a new brand of commercial vehicles, the production of which has been launched by a Russian company.
The company clarifies that the SKM M7 is equipped with a 2-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine (137 hp), a 5-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.
The all-metal body is equipped with five doors, with sliding doors located on both sides. The minivan is designed to carry seven people, including the driver, and the van can carry 715 kg of cargo.
The basic version includes air conditioning, front airbags, stability control, parking sensors, rear view camera, light sensor, multimedia complex and digital instrument cluster. The cost of the cars will be revealed later.
The release of new products is organized at the facilities of the VIS-AVTO subsidiary, where commercial modifications of the Lada Granta and Lada Niva are already being produced.
SKM cars are assembled using the semi-assembly method using a painted and glazed body, with engine and chassis parts supplied separately.
