The new product, which currently bears the code name Space, should debut in 2026 – it is a large electric crossover with three rows of seats. The model is built on the MEB platform, which underlies other electric cars from brands in the Volkswagen portfolio, and is larger in size than the recently introduced Enyaq. Well, the Space’s design is inspired by the Vision 7S concept car from two years ago.

The conceptual Vision 7S demonstrated several stylistic solutions that could be implemented in the production Space. For example, the show car had an original window sill line, which even received its own name: Tornado Line: it was slightly expanded towards the front windows. The line looks similar on the camouflaged prototype in the spy photos published by Carscoops.

But the Space still has B pillars, which the Vision 7S did not have at all, and the rear doors, judging by the location of the retractable handles, open as standard, and not against the direction of travel as in the concept.

A new locally assembled Skoda crossover began to be sold in Kazakhstan. Skoda presented an updated family of Enyaq electric crossovers. The new Skoda crossover made a splash: the “base” was sold out in 10 days.

The spy photos were taken in Sweden during winter testing of the new model. The spies were not able to look into the interior, so it is not yet clear what exactly the layout of the serial crossover will be. The 7S concept had three rows for six adults and one child seat, with a rear-facing seat behind the driver and passenger.

The new product is predicted to have several modifications – mono-drive with one electric motor and all-wheel drive with two. The concept, we recall, had a battery with a capacity of 89 kilowatt-hours, which provided a power reserve of up to 600 kilometers. Probably, the serial Space will also receive a similar battery.
