The Jetour brand is not abandoning plans to introduce the G700 SUV to the Russian market. A company representative told Motor magazine about this on the sidelines of the Beijing International Motor Show. At the same time, the timing of the debut has not yet been determined: it could take place either before the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.

The Jetour G700 is a framed full-size SUV that is larger than the Land Cruiser 300: length – 5198 mm, width – 2050 mm, height – 1956 mm, wheelbase – 2870 mm.

The Chery Kunpeng CDM-O hybrid power plant is based on a longitudinally mounted two-liter turbo engine with a power of 211 hp.

The internal combustion engine can rotate the front wheels through a two-stage gearbox, but its main job is to charge the lithium iron phosphate battery.

Considering the presence of two traction electric motors, the total output of the system is 904 hp and torque is 1135 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds.

A special version of the Jetour G700, featuring a sealed body and propellers, was able to swim across the Yangtze River, setting a national record.
