SJSC “BELGEE” in the domestic market has set a historical record for sales of cars powered by new energy sources. By the end of April, residents of Belarus purchased more than 1,600 electric and hybrid cars. The main bestseller was the compact battery hatchback Geely EX2.
According to statistics, over 740 Geely EX2 cars were purchased in the second month of spring, which is a record for this model. In particular, 50% fewer cars found their owners in March.
The length of the compact five-door hatchback is 4135 mm, width – 1805 mm, height – 1570 mm, and the wheelbase is 2650 mm. The car is built on the modern GEA modular platform.
The model is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 116 hp. The lithium iron phosphate battery has a capacity of 39.4 kWh. The maximum speed reaches 130 km/h, and the range is 395 km.
In Belarus, a new product, sales of which started on the local market at the end of last year, costs from 45 thousand Belarusian rubles (excluding additional benefits) – that’s 1.2 million Russian rubles.
