The main competitors of the crossover will be Haval H7, Geely Atlas, Tank 300 and Chery Tiggo 9. The press service of the AutoSpetsTsentr Group of Companies reported this to the analytical agency Autostat.

“The updated Haval Dargo crossover in the Premium and Techno+ trim levels will be popular. The price segment of the car already presupposes the client’s need for the maximum number of options. The lack of a front-wheel drive version will not affect sales of the model in any way. This package was not popular with customers. Cars in this segment are generally very rarely considered with front-wheel drive,” commented the press service of the AutoSpetsTsentr Group of Companies.

With the update, the Haval Dargo received a new line of equipment: now only all-wheel drive and three options – “Optimum” (3.5 million rubles), “Premium” (3.7 million rubles) and “Techno+” (3.9 million rubles). The key technical change is the 2.0-liter turbo engine, whose power has been increased from 192 hp. up to 200 hp, and torque – from 320 Nm to 380 Nm. The transmission remains the same: a 7-speed dual-clutch wet type.

With the update, the Haval Dargo received Torque-On-Demand all-wheel drive with a new intelligent electro-hydraulic clutch on the rear axle, as well as 8 driving modes: “Eco”, “Standard”, “Sport” (asphalt) and “Snow”, “Sand”, “Gravel”, “Bumps”, “Grass” (off-road). The front end design has become more aggressive: a larger grille with six large black glossy rectangles (instead of chrome strips), and black headlight masks are visually integrated with the grille. At the rear there is an LED strip in the trim of the fifth door, which merges with the lights in the dark. For the top-end “Techno+” configuration, 19-inch wheels are offered.
