To control the movement of personal mobility equipment, the Skat-PP mobile measuring system will be used in the Belarusian capital. The device is capable of recording speed and other parameters, and in case of violations, transmitting data to the service tablet of a traffic police officer.
“Having received the notification, law enforcement officers will stop the violation and conduct a preventive conversation with the reckless driver. If the offense is committed again, they will be held accountable,” said Viktor Rotchenkov, head of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
From September 1, 2025, for users of personal mobility devices on the territory of the republic, a speed limit has been established – no more than 10 km/h in populated areas, with the exception of bicycle paths.
In Russia, the maximum speed reaches 25 km/h. National traffic regulations prohibit driving together, and also introduce separate rules for children under 14 years of age. There are fines for violations.
