According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, the leader of the Russian market in this segment was Toyota products, with Mitsubishi in second place. At the same time, sales of new pickup trucks in Russia continue to fall, while the demand for used vehicles of this class is showing strong growth.
According to the analytical agency Autostat, in the first three months of 2026, Russians purchased 9.3 thousand used pickup trucks. This is almost 22% more than in the same period in 2025. At the same time, the market for new pickup trucks, on the contrary, is showing a decline – the drop over the same period was 20%.
In the brand structure of the secondary market, Toyota is the leader, whose pickup trucks sold 2.1 thousand units. This represents 22% of the total Russian market in this segment. Second place is occupied by Mitsubishi with 1.6 thousand cars sold and a share of 17%. The domestic UAZ closes the top three: its share accounts for 12% of the market and 1.1 thousand used pickups sold.
Among specific models, the most popular used pickup truck was the Toyota Hilux (1.8 thousand vehicles were sold in January-March 2026), the Mitsubishi L200 was in second place with a result of 1.6 thousand units, and the UAZ Pickup was in third place.
