The Lamborghini Centenario Trattore is one of five stylized tractors created in 2016 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ferruccio Lamborghini. The founder of the company became famous for the production of tractors even before he began producing supercars and made a fortune precisely by producing agricultural machinery, and began producing sports cars to challenge Ferrari.
The project was implemented by Italian designer Adler Capelli with the support of the German company Klima Lounge, specializing in Lamborghini technology. It is based on a Lamborghini DLA35 tractor from the 1960s with a 2.2 liter three-cylinder diesel engine. Power – a modest 36 hp. The unit is combined with a manual transmission.
As part of the customization, the tractor has been radically redesigned: it has a low seating position, with the driver and passenger located between the huge rear wheels. The body panels are handcrafted from metal and left unpainted to naturally age and develop a patina. There are numerous Lamborghini emblems on the body.

Despite being in full working condition, the tractor is not intended for field work—it is, rather, a moving art object. Since its construction in 2020, it has traveled only 500 km. In 2016, each of the five copies cost about $2 million. The estimated cost of the equipment was not announced before the auction.
Lamborghini previously announced the release of a new model for the company’s 63rd anniversary.
