AvtoVAZ has opened shipments of a new rear-wheel drive family – the SKM M7 van and minivan. Both versions have a rear-wheel drive layout and are equipped with a 2-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 136 hp. There is only one gearbox – a classic 5-speed manual.
The recommended retail price will be 2.9 million rubles. The basic package includes air conditioning, front airbags, stability control, rear disc brakes, parking sensors and a rear view camera.
The list continues with a light sensor, electric mirrors, LED running lights, a standard medical system, digital instruments and a multifunction steering wheel. Heated front seats and heated mirrors are also provided.
The passenger version is equipped with a second heater, as well as a removable third row of seats, which simplifies the transformation of the interior. The minivan can carry up to seven passengers (including the driver).
The van’s load capacity reaches 715 kg, and its cargo compartment can accommodate 5 cubic meters. m. of cargo. Both the cargo and passenger versions are equipped with a continuous drive axle suspended on springs.
The SKM M7 has undergone special adaptation: factory preparation includes protection for the engine and fuel tank, as well as the running boards. The body panels are galvanized, and the engine allows the use of AI-92 gasoline.
