At the end of April 2026, 1,741 new Voyah cars were sold in Russia. This result allowed the Chinese brand to become the leader in sales of premium cars in the Russian Federation for the first time. This was reported by the analytical agency Autostat.
“The second place in the premium segment was taken by the German BMW (1,503 units), which, we remind you, is not officially present on the Russian market. But the leader of the 1st quarter, the Chinese Exeed, dropped to third place. Its result in April was 1,428 copies sold,” the publication says.
According to the agency, the top five leaders in the premium segment at the end of April also included the Chinese brands Tank (1,411 units) and Hongqi (1,049 units). Separately, it is worth noting the German Mercedes-Benz (1006 units), which, despite the lack of an official presence in Russia, managed to overcome the thousandth mark.
In total, 11.6 thousand new premium cars were sold in Russia in April. This is 13% more than in April of the previous year. As Dmitry Yarygin, deputy head of the analytics department of the Avtostat agency, emphasizes, the share of premium cars makes up a tenth of the Russian market.
