Anton Saraikin, Deputy General Director of KamAZ PJSC for sales and service, spoke about this in an interview with Radius.

According to Saraikin, the scientific and technical center is currently working on developing new areas for KamAZ. These include low-carbon vehicles, driverless and highly automated vehicles, and heavy-duty mining trucks. The company has not previously been represented in this area.

In the current commercial activities, which constitute the main direction of work, priority is given to expanding the fifth generation model range. First of all, the most popular segment has been mastered – tractors and dump trucks. At the same time, heavy tractors were produced in 2025, and production of special equipment is planned for 2026-2027: refrigerators, delivery trucks for retail, construction equipment with cranes, municipal equipment, garbage trucks, and road combination vehicles. The emphasis is on those segments of special equipment where the presence remains insignificant.

Saraikin also noted that marketplaces represent a separate zone and a separate area of retail, which is developing quite actively. This direction has been identified as a promising growth point. In this regard, the emphasis is on the equipment necessary for the corresponding transportation – small distribution trucks for home delivery and delivery points. This direction of development is recognized as justified taking into account its market potential.
