Chinese brands continue to actively explore the Russian car market. In May alone, 10 new and updated models went on sale in the country, Auto News of the Day found out.

The Foton brand presented three new products in May. The updated Tunland V7 pickup truck in the “Prestige” configuration received a spring suspension. Its price is 5.55 million rubles. The Tunland V9 pickup, previously available only with a diesel engine, is now offered with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine producing 245 hp. and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Cost: 5.45 million rubles. Sales of the Foton View diesel van with a low roof for 3.23 million rubles and with a medium roof for 3.48 million rubles also started.

One of the most notable new products was the updated Changan Uni-V liftback. It is available in the only top-of-the-line “Sport” trim level with a new 2.0-liter engine producing 235 hp. and an 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission. Price – 3.5 million rubles.

The loud return of the month was the start of sales of the updated Geely Coolray crossover, which disappeared from the Russian website of the brand last fall. Now it is offered in the maximum Exclusive configuration at a price of 2.74 million rubles.

The Great Wall Motor concern also did not stand aside – sales of the restyled Haval F7 2026 model year began. The car was improved in ergonomics and multimedia, and the power units were modernized. Prices start from 3.0 million rubles.

The premium SUV segment has been supplemented by the ROX Adamas sequential hybrid from the Chinese concern Sinomach Automobile. Specialists from the Italian studio Pininfarina had a hand in its design. Cruising range – up to 1226 km. Price – from 10.1 to 10.4 million rubles.

The Hongqi brand confirmed its status as the “Chinese Rolls-Royce” in May by starting sales of the most luxurious sedan, Golden Sunflower Guoya, in Russia. The model is available in five- and four-seat versions. This is one of the most expensive Chinese cars on the market – from 27.7 million rubles.

Under the SKM brand, created by AvtoVAZ, light commercial vehicles SKM M7 began to be shipped to dealers. They are produced at the Tolyatti site “VIS-Auto”. The cargo version costs 2.86 million rubles, the passenger minivan – 2.95 million rubles.

Finally, starting May 22, another Tenet brand crossover, the T4L, is on sale in Russia. This is a “family” version of the compact T4 with a larger body (4506x1828x1701 mm), a more spacious interior and a larger trunk. Two configurations are available: “Active” and “Prime” at prices starting from 2.26 million rubles.
