A week after the official start of sales, which took place on May 22, the new Tenet T4L crossover found its first owners. As reported by Alarm-Motors Group of Companies, more than ten such cars were sold at the company’s dealership centers in St. Petersburg in the first week.
According to the first data from the dealer, the basic version of Tenet T4L, the “Active” package, is in greatest demand. Sales Director of Alarm-Motors Group of Companies Anton Smirnov notes that the new product is chosen by sedan owners who want to switch to a more spacious and affordable car, as well as those who plan to update their old city crossovers (including Chinese brands) with a modern and technological model.
The new Tenet T4L crossover occupies an intermediate position in the brand’s model line between the younger T4 model and the older T7 crossover. The car is offered in two versions – “Active” and “Prime”, the starting price is 2.3 million rubles.
Compared to its predecessor Tenet T4, the new T4L crossover has become 186 mm longer, almost 50 mm higher, and the wheelbase has grown by 40 mm. Final dimensions: 4,506×1,828×1,701 mm, base – 2,650 mm. This has increased space for rear passengers, and trunk volume has increased by 135 liters: up to 475 liters with the seats up and up to 1,500 liters when they are folded down.
In addition to increased dimensions, Tenet T4L has acquired an updated appearance and an expanded list of equipment. The package includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a rain sensor, a six-speaker audio system, modern telematics and height-adjustable headrests. The model also has a certified towbar, allowing it to tow a trailer weighing up to 750 kg. In addition, the crossover received independent suspension of the front and rear wheels.
