“Owners of Chinese brands, after the warranty repair period has expired, often trade them in and purchase new models,” experts said.
According to them, the most popular for trade-in exchange are Haval, Geely, Chery, Jetour produced in 2021-2022.
Prior to this, Igor Serebryakov, director of the after-sales service department of the AutoSpetsCenter Group of Companies, said that poplar fluff can disrupt the operation of the engine and air conditioner until they fail. According to him, when it gets into the engine compartment, the fluff mixes with road dust and oil fumes, forming a felt-like layer that disrupts the thermal conditions of the engine. As a result, the risk of overheating of the power unit increases, especially in traffic jams.
The most critical problem is clogging of the air conditioner radiator honeycomb. Due to fluff, cooling efficiency sharply decreases, which in the future can lead to failure of the air conditioning compressor, the expert noted.
