The current minimum tariff rate at the head office in Wolfsburg, Germany, according to the HR department of the German automaker, is 15.29 euros per hour. The exact amount of payment depends on the specific region where the plant is located, as well as the terms of the employment contract.
The rate of 15.29 euros (about 1.3 thousand rubles) is indicated gross, that is, before taxes. With full employment, the employee will receive about 2 thousand euros, that is, 170 thousand rubles.
Novice employees are placed in the least responsible positions, such as subassembling sets of parts. For some positions, knowledge of German is not mandatory.
More experienced personnel, as Motor magazine found out, receive 3-5 thousand euros (250-420 thousand rubles): the salary depends on length of service, qualifications and position.
In some industries, salaries are significantly higher: on an engine assembly line, for 32 hours of work (per week), the monthly salary for a new product will be 6.5 thousand euros (550 thousand rubles).
