Sales of the updated Chery Arrizo 8 sedan 2026 model year have started in China. At the same time, the modernized version, thanks to the discounts announced at the start of sales, turned out to be cheaper than the pre-reform one. On this occasion, the editors of Motor magazine compared the cost of the model in the Russian and Chinese markets.
In China, the cost of the basic version of the updated Chery Arrizo 8 sedan will be 112 thousand yuan (1.2 million rubles), and taking into account the announced discounts, the car is offered for 103 thousand yuan (1.1 million rubles).
For comparison, in Russia the pre-reform version of the car is available to buyers for 2.9 million rubles, but a direct discount from the brand’s representative office allows the price to be reduced to 2.8 million rubles.
If we compare the available data, it turns out that Russians overpay 1.7 million rubles, while residents of the PRC receive a more recent version of the model for a smaller amount.
