On June 27 and 28, the second stage of the St. Petersburg Drift Cup of the 2026 season will be held at the Igora Drive circuit. The best drifters of the North-West region will once again gather in the legendary “concrete Coliseum” – a drift site located in the paddock of the Rally Moto Center. The platform, surrounded on all sides by blocks, invariably gives a spectacular drift just a few centimeters from the wall.
On Saturday, June 27, drivers will run the course alone twice during qualifying attempts. Their task is to fulfill the referee’s task as accurately as possible. The maximum score for the qualification is 100 points. On Sunday, June 28, there will be double elimination heats in the top 24 bracket.
This year, the competition in the St. Petersburg Cup is held in a double bracket format, which allows the losing pilot to continue the fight in the lower bracket and reach the final. This format intensifies competition and makes the fight even more exciting.
In 2026, there will be a new winner in the St. Petersburg Cup in any case, since the current trophy owner Alexander Mezentsev has focused on coaching. Artem Leitis, one of the drift leaders in the North-West region, took Alexander’s place behind the wheel of Alexander’s champion BMW E36.
At the first stage, Leitis performed in qualifying, showing a result of 99 points, but this was only enough for third place. The same result was shown by Vladislav Vtorushin, who became second, and the winner of the selection, St. Petersburg resident Anatoly Kizin in a BMW E92, scored the maximum possible 100 points.

Kizin’s winning streak continued on Sunday – he reached the final, where he was stronger than the pilot from Murmansk Artem Kanevsky in a BMW E30. Bronze – Elisey Nikitin in Toyota Altezza.
Will pilots with Japanese technology be able to stop the dominance of drifters with BMW 3-Series of various generations – another intrigue of the second stage.
The leader in the team standings is ISKRA Racing (353 points), represented by Elisey Nikitin, Artem Kanevsky and Yuri Aleksashkin. The team “There are questions” (350 points), for which Denis Antrushin, Matvey Vakhrushev and Anatoly Kizin perform, are behind the leaders by only three points.
Tickets for the second and third stages of the St. Petersburg Drift Cup are on sale on the autodrome website. Spectator stands are located in close proximity to the track, which gives the maximum dose of adrenaline and emotions. At the food court you can refresh yourself and drink cold or warm drinks.
During breaks between races, you can chat and take pictures with the drifters. Young spectators can spend time in the children’s area and meet the racetrack’s trotting mascot Sid, especially since children under 6 years old do not require a separate ticket.
