A branded KamAZ truck cursor will appear in the 2GIS navigator instead of the standard arrow, the press service of the truck manufacturer reports. The new generation K5 three-axle KamAZ-6595 dump truck (in the title photo) was chosen as the model that will show the way.
In 2025, the auto giant “import-replaced” KamAZ-6595 dump trucks: trucks with 6×4, 6×6 and 8×4 wheel arrangements appeared in the company configurator. These vehicles should replace the classic KamAZ-6520 and modifications from the range.
The transition to trucks with the new K5 series cab will allow the auto giant to compete with Chinese dump trucks that have filled the Russian market.
The models are focused on the transportation of bulk and small-piece cargo, which allows them to be used in industry, agriculture, construction, and mining.
The cars are equipped with a 13-liter turbodiesel engine producing 480 hp. The transmission can be equipped with a 16-speed manual or 12-speed robotic gearbox.
