An action camera that could have helped in the investigation of a fatal accident was not found at the scene of the accident for two years. This was reported by the Baza Telegram channel.

“The tragedy with Tatyana Ozolina, better known in the world as MotoTanya, occurred two years ago in Turkey. <...> The Insta360 X4 action camera could reveal the mystery of the accident. However, this key evidence is believed to have been lost somewhere at the scene of the accident,” the publication says.

A MotoTani subscriber named Yuri conducted his own investigation and found that the camera was not lost – someone activated it in Moscow almost a month after the blogger’s death.

He came to this conclusion after studying data on the synchronization of the action camera with the phone on which Ozolina’s account was authorized. Synchronization took place via an IPv6 address belonging to MGTS in Moscow. According to Yuri, technically this is only possible if the camera and phone are in close proximity. It was on this device, he believes, that real footage of the last minutes before the accident and the very moment of the accident could have been preserved.

Investigators previously put forward a theory that the camera was found at the scene of the accident and given to one of the participants. However, according to Yuri, in February 2026, when the Moscow prosecutor’s office initiated an additional check, the fact of the camera’s activity in the capital was never verified.

According to the channel, the tragedy involving MotoTani occurred at the end of July 2024 in the Milas-Mugly region in Turkey. Along with her on motorcycles were her friend Sergei and biker from Riyadh Onur Obat. According to the main version, MotoTanya slowed down in front of a truck that appeared on the road. Obat, who was driving behind, did not have time to react and collided. The Russian woman lost control: according to one version, she crashed into a truck, according to another, she flew into a ditch. The injuries the biker received turned out to be incompatible with life.
