The Chairman of the Federation Council announced this at a plenary meeting of the upper house of parliament, TASS reports.

“Indeed, the situation is not simple, not easy,” Matvienko said, mentioning that President Vladimir Putin held a meeting dedicated to providing agriculture with gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuel.

On Monday, this topic was discussed at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. According to the senator, a government working group is now looking for ways to solve the problem, but it takes time to resolve it.

“We must not dramatize, not groan and groan, but look for a solution together,” added Matvienko, commenting on reports of difficulties in providing farmers with fuels and lubricants.
