On the official website of the Nizhny Novgorod company RIDA quietly released photos and features of Komendant with a stretched wheel base. The announcement of such a modification of Aurus took place in August 2023, but the finished presentation is disclosed only now. From the original crossover, the limousine is distinguished by other doors and an insert in front of the rear axle, and the overall length increased by half a meter!

One hour with Aurus komendant

According to preliminary data, the Aurus Komendant limousine is designed for ballistic protection VR7+/VR8. The crossover has previously unprecedented discs in the spirit of modern sedans, special tires that withstand more than 50 kilometers of the distance even after a complete loss of pressure. The salon is designed for four, the rear passengers have a huge leg supply, there is a partition with a retractable TV.

Judging by the strobe -competes near the room and the antennas on the roof, the first copy of the elongated Aurus Komendant is prepared for service in the special purpose garage. However, the crossover has not yet been noticed on the capital’s streets. The mass production of such machines is in question, because, unlike the usual limousine based on the sedan, more original details have to be used.

RIDA products are not published in the public domain, but the usual Komendant crossover costs about 50 million rubles, the armored version is usually twice as much, and the custom limousine will be even more inaccessible. However, the Nizhny Novgorod workshop also makes more expensive armored cars based on Rolls-Royce Cullinan: the British crossover “stretch” with a 350-mm insert.
