For three years under sanctions, not all car factories managed to restart with Chinese cars. They openly produce products and expand the model line of units: it removes the cream unless of the Tula plant Haval, which lacks production capacities. But in Russia there is another brand whose business goes uphill: Sollers found a conspiracy partner and tries strength in previously unprecedented segments. At the factory in the Elabuzhsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, an experimental assembly of the SF1 (Jac Refine M3) – a van, which Sollers itself is considered a competitor of Largus. The carrying capacity of two models is really comparable: 750 kilograms are declared for the Lada Largus van, about a ton for Sollers SF1. They promise to certify the new single -piece with a full weighing of 2.49 tons so that the model fits into the requirements of the cargo frame of Moscow. That is, legally SF1 is really a passenger car without any reservations.

However, de facto Sollers SF1 is much larger than Largus: the length/width/height of the van are 5115/1765/1900 millimeters, respectively, the wheeled base – 3110 millimeters. The volume of the cargo compartment is best illustrated: 5.15 versus 2.5 cubic meters! Two European films are placed in the body of the new items. However, the rear door is still only lifting (unlike the swing sashes of Largus), and there will be nothing to fix the load and there is nothing to fix: the rigging loops are not provided. The design of Sollers SF1 is also not at all a car: the engine is installed longitudinally, the thrust is transmitted to the rear axle, and the rear bridge is suspended on springs. Diesel engines for SF1 are not yet considered, because such a ligament is not even in China. In addition, taking into account the prices for diesel fuel in the city cycle, the gasoline version can even be cheaper, although there is no data on fuel consumption. For the Chinese source, optimistic nine liters per 100 kilometers in a mixed WLTC cycle are declared.

The release of turbo engines in Russia will be appropriate only with annual releases of 200 thousand units. The prototype of the van has already been assembled, welded and painted in Russia, but serial production is still ahead. So far, only tires and battery are localized, but plans to switch to stamping of bodies from domestic metal, Russian glasses and plastic products. The representative of Sollers noted that the SF1 van took into account the Russian claims against Atlanta in matters of the thickness of the paintwork and anti -corrosion treatment. The main intrigue is the price. According to Motor, the starting price of the Sollers SF1 van is planned to be kept within 2.5 million rubles. The new model will be released on the same conveyor with the “senior” Sollers Atlant, in the future, the line will replenish with combi and passenger minivans category B.
The start of sales is expected in March, so it is not long to wait. However, at least this year SF1 does not seek to squeeze Largus: the plan of Sollers Alabuga for 2025 – only 11.3 thousand cars, while AvtoVAZ intends to make at least 90 thousand station wagons and vans in Izhevsk.

Another premiere of Kazan Truck Expo is the restyled Sollers Atlant SF5 with automatic transmission. The large van was not paid due attention, but in vain: this is a world -wide debut, because there is no two -pedal version even in China in the original Jac Sunray! An updated Russian -made car was brought to Kazan, which will gradually displace the usual Atlant. Modernization is more serious than it seems: the other “face” demanded to change not only the stamping of the hood and wings, but even the windshield! This is a 6-speed transmission with a hydrotransformer, which will be combined with two turbodiesels (1.9 and 2.7 liters) and offered in all types of body (van, minibus, cargo chassis). A year and a half ago, representatives of Sollers made it clear that the Japanese Aisin gearbox was the basis for the machine gun. More details will appear by the end of the year when the Atlant SF5 will become fully serial and will go on sale.

Atlant Max has a little in common with the “ordinary” Sollers Atlant: their name is related and … a turbodiesel with a volume of 2.7 liters.

The unusual new Sollers is a seven -seater minivan SP7, which can be considered a replacement for Toyota Alphard. On the conveyor in Tatarstan, the “passenger” unit JAC Refine RF8 is localized – the most modern model of the eastern partner. Sollers CEO Nikolai Sobolev said that the start of minivan sales will take place in the fall, and the base price will be 5.5 million rubles. Before leaving Russia three years ago, Toyota Alphard was more expensive, and now the same number of the simplest GAC M8 is worth it.
