Such a high cost was influenced by both the rarity and the image of the American manufacturer, which was famous for fast and hardy motorcycles that were used in various racing series. In addition, at the beginning of the last century, a speed record was set on a similar bike.
Cyclone existed for only five years – from 1912 to 1917. Despite the uniqueness of his motorcycles, the brand lost competition to other manufacturers who offered customers cheaper models. At the same time, Cyclone motorcycles were famous for their speed characteristics and reliability of the structure. That is why stories were used in races according to artificial and ground coatings.

In the early 1910s, Cyclone motorcycles were distinguished by an innovative design of the V-Twin format motor. The return of liter engines was 45 horsepower. Thanks to this, stories accelerated to 160 kilometers per hour. In 1914, the United States was set on Cyclone, overcoming a mile in 35 seconds.
According to experts, no more than 14 such bikes have survived to this day. In just five years, the brand produced about three hundred motorcycles. Sold at Cyclone auction for $ 1.32 million (about 132 million rubles), a full restoration was held before the auction.
In November last year, Moscow sold the perfect motorcycle Izh Planet 5 1993. For a bike, which never went on the road, the seller asked for 700 thousand rubles.
