The fact that the new domestic development reached the stage of manufacture of the pre -production party, the newspaper Izvestia was told by the deputy chairman of the board of directors of Avtotor Holding, Alexander Sorokin. He emphasized that all key components of the Ambrauto L7 electric car – engine, inverter, control systems, batteries – were produced in Russia.

For the first time, the prototype of the new “Ambustivot” model L7 (heavy quadricypes/vulgaris) was shown last fall. Then it was reported that it was driven by an electric motor with a capacity of about 20 horsepower, and the maximum speed does not exceed 50 kilometers per hour. Body panels are formed from composite material, the frame is cooked from aluminum profiles. Two- and four-seater options are planned, as well as a special version for low-mobility.

In a conversation with Izvestia, Sorokin shared the details about the development of the new Ambraauto model: he said that the specialists of the Moscow Polytechnic optimized the suspension, steering and developed a canine. When working on the project, 3D modeling was used, virtual tests were carried out and digital doubles were used. “We managed to minimize the volume of expensive field tests and significantly accelerate the development process,” he emphasized.

According to previously voiced plans, serial production will be launched within 2025.

Under the brand of “Amberevo” an electric model A5 is already produced. The Chinese electric car JMEV GSE joint development of JMC and Renault was taken as its basis. Ambereto A5 is equipped with a 160-horsepower electric motor installed on the front axle, which feeds the battery with a capacity of 60.2 kilowatt hours. The margin is 520 kilometers. It costs a5 four million rubles.
