The company “Vostochny Opost” intends to organize in Vladivostok the assembly of trucks and wagons of the Renault Master of the third generation. In certification documents, cars are held under the name Forpost Recruit. According to the telegram channel “Russian car”, they plan to import machine equipment from China; Consumers will be offered van and semi -gradual chassis for superstructures.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade reported the “imported” vehicles in Primorye, but the authorities do not specify which cars are localized in the Far East. According to unofficial data, we are talking about front -wheel drive Renault Master with a full weight of up to 3.5 tons and more than 3.5 tons (category N1 and N2). What cars will look like – an open question, because in the third generation the French LCV had two restyling.

There is no need to talk about large -scale assembly: by 2027 they plan to reach the production of 20 units monthly, that is, the annual circulation will be only 240 cars. With such volumes, “East Opest” will be able to pass simplified certification and “probe” the market. Renault transferred Master to the fourth generation in 2024, but in China, cars of the 2014 and 2019 model with a 2.0-liter turbodiesel and a 6-speed “mechanics” are produced without much success.
The return of the mass “state employees” of Renault to Russia cannot be excluded: the option for a return redemption of assets is valid until 2028. However, the French will not be able to return the Moscow factory: it moved away to the state and now Moskvich cars are being produced on the site.
