Classifieds revealed a German clone of the Chevrolet Captiva, released in 2014. The peculiarity of this example is the condition of the new car, because the odometer has less than one and a half thousand kilometers, and the Opel Antara was stored in a heated garage for ten years. The author of the ad claims that the crossover has one owner, and the only options include crankcase protection and anti-corrosion treatment.

Ten differences

The Opel Antara was produced, among other things, at Russian factories in Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg: this car is of domestic production. For some reason, the car was not used: the odometer shows 1,458 kilometers. Based on open sources, we can conclude that there are still not one, but two owners, but the crossover really has not been driven.

The equipment is standard for the restyled Opel Antara: a 2.4 naturally-aspirated petrol engine (167 horsepower) is combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The options list includes four airbags and curtain airbags, ABS and ESP systems, fog lights, light and rain sensors, xenon headlights, heated mirrors, electrically adjustable and heated front seats.

The head of Opel revealed why it is impossible to make cheap electric cars in Germany

They want to get four million rubles for a middle-aged car with no mileage. The collectible value of such an Opel is questionable, and everyday use without extensive maintenance is hardly safe. For a comparable amount (4.16 million rubles) you can buy a new Knewstar 001 (formerly Geely Tugella) with Volvo filling from us.
