Chery announced the completion of the certification process of the new model of her daughter brand Omoda – C7 crossover. For dealers, a 4.6-meter novelty will appear in May 2025. The rival Geely Atlas and Jetour Dashing will be offered with a familiar connection of the 1.6 turbo engine and a seven -speed “robot” with two clutches. Prices will announce closer to the start of sales.

Omoda C7 is a medium -sized crossover, the design of which with an unusual frameless radiator grill was marked with gold in the French Design Award contest. It reaches 4.6 meters in length, 1.9 in width, and in a height-1.7 meters at a 2.7-meter wheelbase. Wheel disks can be 18 or 19-inch.

The cabin contains a 15.5-inch “soaring” central display of the media system operating on the Snapdragon 8155 chip. The “device”, of course, is digital, there is a compartment for wireless charging.

C7 will be offered in five trim levels: Joy, Lifestyle, Drive, Active and Supreme. The complex of active security systems, the intellectual ARDIS all -wheel drive and a review of 540 degrees were declared (360 around and 180 under the bottom).

Under the hood-a 1.6-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower (275 nm of torque), familiar in Cher and Exeeed. The unit works in a conjunction with a seven -speed “robot” with a double wet clutch. It is expected that the price will be at the Jacoo J7 level, which in the “base” without discounts costs about three million rubles.

Last week, Omoda partially revealed the appearance of her cheapest crossover under the C3 index. Probably, it will be close in technology to the Jeecoo J5 and will be a little more compact Omoda C5. A full -fledged premiere will be held on April 26 at a car dealership in Shanghai.
