The Russian auto giant is going to organize the assembly of cars in Uzbekistan under a certain local brand, TASS reports with reference to the head of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov. Russian cars can be delivered on the conveyor this year if local partners are ready.
AvtoVAZ resumes work with partners from Uzbekistan, Sokolov said. It is not only about establishing the exports of ready -made LADA in the country, but also about phased localization. If everything goes according to the plan, the “frets” will be sold “under the local local Uzbek brand.”
Lada in Uzbekistan will be assembled by coarse assembly (SKD) from machine tools exported from Russia. The first model will be Lada Largus, for which “deeper localization” is considered.
How were the frets called abroad? What will be the electric Lada aura: the characteristics of the dealers complained about the three -month reserves of Lada Granta and the cancellation of discounts
As for the “screwdriver” assembly, AvtoVAZ is ready to establish the production of a fairly wide line, Sokolov said. According to him, the project is in the active stage of study.
Earlier, the AvtoVAZ showurum opened in the UAE. The country was offered a full range of LADA, and Russian cars are in the same hall with used Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-AMG. As noted by the Auto-Potok Telegram channel, the “Lada” set by the stickers “not for sale”.
