This model is sold (and even produced) in Russia from components supplied from China. In Europe, C5 Aircons stepped into a new generation: the crossover was transformed outside and got a fully electrical version, as well as a hybrid modification. With the transition to the new generation, the crossover significantly added in dimensions: the length increased by 15 centimeters, to 4.65 meters, and the wheelbase by six centimeters, to 2.78 meters. Due to this, an additional space appeared in the cabin, mainly in the legs of passengers in the second row, and the luggage volume increased to 651 liters.

The body now looks more sculptural and aerodynamic, 20-inch discs are available, and the road clearance is 200 millimeters. From last year’s concept, the serial C5 Aircons inherited the protruding rear lights made in the form of thin stripes located in two tiers, but the door handles are standard.

The mentioned 13-inch screen in the cabin has a vertical orientation, a block of physical buttons is placed under it. At the wheel is a 10-inch digital panel of devices, supplemented by a projection display. For the branded front seats, Citroen Advance Comfort declared electroregulations, heating, ventilation and massage, while the posterior sofa has leaning backs and heating.

The hybrid line is represented by the basic version of the Hybrid 145 with a 1.2-liter “turbotro”, which helps a 12-horsepower electric motor, integrated into a six-speed gearbox with two clutches. Electric E-C5 Aircons is proposed in two modifications. The first is with a 210-horsepower electric motor and a 73 kilowatt-hour battery, providing up to 520 kilometers of the course without recharging. The second is with an electric motor with a capacity of 230 forces, a 97-kilowatt battery and a stroke of 679 kilometers.

The new generation will be released in the Citroen C5 Aircons in France. The start of European sales is scheduled for the second half of 2025. Prices have not yet been announced.
