In India, a presentation of a model with a composite name took place. The usual Kia Carens is not going to resign, because the updated model received the CLAVIS prefix (from the Latin “key”). Designers worked for fame: in front of the crosswan looks completely different and looks like electric cars! The salon also changed, but only in the top complexation, it was it that the press service showed it.

The technique is almost the same as the source. The widest gamma: atmospheric gasoline engine 1.5 (115 hp) is combined with a 6-speed “mechanics”, a turbodiesel of the same volume (116 hp)-with a 6-speed “mechanics” or a 6-speed automatic. The top turbo engine 1.5 (160 hp) can work with a 6-speed “mechanics”, a 6-speed “IMT” robot with automatic clutch or a 7-speed pre-sectus “robot”.

Prices will be announced in the summer, but it is already clear that Carens Clavis will be more expensive than the usual Kia Carens, which costs from 1.06 to 1.97 million rupees (12-23 thousand dollars). Exporting from the Indian Kia Plant is still in question.
