On Sunday, May 18, the final day of Bach Archeda passed. Two specialists of the previous day with a total length of almost 300 kilometers, deployed in the opposite direction. The track was pretty rolled, and therefore the sands became especially complicated. Peloton race again suffered losses: three annoying gatherings. In total, of the 24 crews that started at the bach, only 20 reached the final. And the final day made unexpected changes to the camp of leaders.
Bach Archeda in the Volgograd region has never been simple. Unpredictable insidious sands and off -roads, as well as pits, which is sometimes impossible to see behind dense vegetation – all this requires high concentration and professionalism from athletes and colossal margin of strength from technology.
Yesterday, an unexpected jump into an unnoticed hole knocked out the crew of Dmitry Sotnikov from the Kamaz-Master team from the struggle. Sotnikov is one of the most titled athletes of Russian rally-raids! Also, the crew of Vladimir Moiseev from the GAZ Ray Sport team did not start to start – the gearbox failed. On the final day, due to technical problems, two Toyota cars-Leonid Petrov and Andrei Gorkov hired by Su-4. As a result, Andrei Syushentsov played in the standings of standard T2 SUVs in proud loneliness.

Despite numerous breakdowns, gatherings and difficulties, the race was completed and the winners received their awards. In the cargo standings, as in the previous days, Bogdan Karimov confidently leader and, as a result, successfully drove to the first step of the T5 catwalk. Despite the brilliant speech of Sergei Vyazovich, who finished the second on the Su-4 and the fifth on the Su-5, the leader of the Belarusian team did not manage to catch up with the lost time. Therefore, he has only fifth place in the category of trucks, and his component Pavel Murylev has the fourth.

And the second and third places were kept from the attacks of the Belarusians of the Blue Armada: Eduard Nikolaev won silver, and Almaz Akhmedov bronze. The only Raid Raid Sports truck remaining in the race, Mikhail Shklyaev, courageously struggled with sand. There were breakdowns, and the crew received a large number of penalty time. As a result – only seventh place in the category of trucks.

“Archeda race turned out to be more complicated than Astrakhan,” said the pilot of the GAZ Raid Sport Mikhail Shklyaev team – the track, the organization – everything was on top. For us, this test has become a real challenge, but we coped! On the final day, we were pursued by small breakdowns due to rain and heavy sand. In one of the sites, we could not overcome the rise. They lowered the wheels, somehow drove up to the cliff, but stuck. I had to throw almost a whole sand truck to dig up the frame, engine, handout and transmission. We searched for every climb – we were looking for bypass paths – otherwise we could not drive. Only at the finish line did the reason for the loss of cross -country ability become: the manometer of the automatic pumping system of the wheels failed and we rode on the pumped wheels.
The winner in the Absolute (trucks are not included in this test) was the most experienced Boris Gadasin from the G-Force Motorsport. On the G-Force Tigris prototype, he showed a very high speed. The second and third places in the absolute standings went to Dmitry and Alexei Cherkesov. They took gold and silver in the standings of Baggi T3.

Anastasia Nifontova brilliantly completed the race, showing the best time in the Absolute on the Su-4, and the second on the Su-5. But, despite all the efforts and played time, Anastasia took only fourth place in the absolute standings and bronze in T3.

“We, in principle, knew where we were going, and understood that it would not be easy,” said Anastasia Nifontova, the organizers tried to fame, but to be honest, this time we went too far with Ardiadine sands … I wanted more rudder paths … And we knocked down the sand on the verge of throwing the engines … although in general, everything was great! Yesterday we had a small technical problem: the car was very knitted in the sand, so we could not show a high pace. Today we recouped: we won the first circle in the absolute standings, and the second arrived second in the absolute and the first in their class. But, unfortunately, the lag of the previous days did not allow to rise to the highest step. They took third place in the category. In principle, also not bad – they earned glasses in the championship. So we move on!

An unexpected castling occurred in the raid-sport: Alexei Ignatov, due to the replacement of the clutch after the fourth SU, did not ripen in time to come to the start of the last fifth special expert, for which he received 17 penalty minutes. This discarded the crew of Ignatov and Pavlov in second place. But the teammates, Alexander Semenov and Dmitry Okhotnikov, escaped forward and received gold in their test group. The third place was expected by Mikhail Mityaev from the Lada Sport RAID team.
The pilot of the GAZ team Raid Sports Alexander Semenov shared his impressions at the finish: – As the athletes say, if you do not defeat the Arched, then Archeda will defeat you! Heavy sands, which became even more complicated on the day when rains went. Large loads on drives. Perhaps this is one of the most difficult races of the 2025 season. Even heavier than Astrakhan. Literally from the start you dive into the sands, burrow and go to the finish line – along the nostrils in the sand. There were funnels, where we could easily roll over, but saved the car, allowed us to go further. Everyone was equal in the sands, and it was a motor race: who had a stronger engine, the easier. But in general, we are satisfied with the race.

In the standings of standard T2 SUVs without options – in the first place was the only crews in the crew race. In the absence of rivals, even penalty from the judges for the failure of the control points was not an obstacle to arrival at the first stage of the T2 catwalk.
In the team standings in the first place S&A Racing, the gas raid sport-the second, and the G-Force Motorsport received bronze.

Bach Archeda turned out to be exhausting, high -speed and complicated enough for technology. Still! Behind three days and five special stages with a total length of 615 kilometers. In the evening, the award ceremony was held, the winners received their medals.
