The second-generation crossover in South Korea costs 43.83 million won and is offered with a choice of two powertrains: traditional gasoline and hybrid.

According to Hyundai Motor, on the first day of pre-orders for the new Palisade, 33,567 applications were received. In the internal ranking, the crossover took third place, behind the electric Ioniq 6 with 37,446 pre-orders in the first day and the restyled Kia Carnival minivan, which collected 36,455 applications. The second-generation petrol Palisade in South Korea costs from 43.83 million won (3.1 million rubles), the hybrid – from 49.82 million (3.5 million rubles).

The new Palisade received an original appearance with “stacks” of running lights, increased in size and acquired a nine-seater version with an additional seat between the driver and passenger. The crossover is available with nappa leather seat upholstery, a Bose audio system, 21-inch wheels, active suspension, a fingerprint authentication system and much more. The range of engines has formally shrunk to one unit – the 2.5 “turbo-four” of the Smartstream family. But it can work either independently or as part of a hybrid installation.

In the first case, the output will be 281 horsepower, and the engine will be combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In the second, the power will be slightly lower – 261 horsepower, but the combined one reaches 334 horsepower. The hybrid’s transmission is a six-speed automatic. The drive can be front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, regardless of the choice of power unit.
