In Europe, crossovers with gasoline-electrical power plant based on a 2.0-liter turbo engine were debuted. Such Audi Q5 E-HYBRIDs come both with the usual and a composite body, and there are two modifications to choose from, both with a battery with an effective capacity of 20.7 kilowatt hours. The basic hybrid develops at the peak of 299 horsepower and 450 Nm, an optionally available version of the return of 367 horsepower and 500 nm.

According to the dynamic characteristics, the top hybrid Audi Q5 did not reach the SQ5 with the V6 3.0 gasoline engine (367 hp, 500 nm) – the novelty is inferior in acceleration from a place of up to 100 km/h six tenths (5.1 versus 4.5 seconds). The maximum speed of both all -wheel drive versions is limited at a mark of 250 km/h. But the E-HYBRID version can pass without activation of the internal combustion engine to 113 kilometers (WLTP).

In general, the power plant of new electrified Audi Q5 repeats the A5 E-HYBRID passenger versions. Outwardly, the novelties are distinguished by a charging hatch and expanded equipment: by default there is a sports suspension and three zones of climate control, and in the most powerful version there are also red brake calipers, sports seats, special wheel wheels and combined interior decoration.

The Audi Q5 E-Hybrid family will be assembled in Mexico, sales in Europe start in the summer. The basic hybrid will cost 63,400 euros, the top version-in 71,800 euros, for the Sportback Balm-shaped body will have to pay another 2500 euros. For comparison, the simplest gasoline Audi Q5 costs 52,300 euros, and SQ5 will pull 83 thousand euros.
