The Chinese Cars portal studied the dynamics of prices for new cars on the market in early December and found that the cost of many models went up due to an increase in scrapping fees and the growing cost of borrowed money after another increase in the key rate. A number of brands, including Geely, Belgee and Knewstar, have already made adjustments to their price lists several times – their models have become more expensive. Others, for example, Evolute, Voyah and Hongqi, on the contrary, introduced direct discounts.
The list provided by the portal includes two dozen brands, and among them there are not only Chinese, but also Russian ones, with which we will begin. The Kaliningrad Ambertruck has reduced the cost of the AmberTruck Work pickup truck in a single configuration: until the end of December it can be bought for 2,100,000 rubles – this is 300 thousand rubles cheaper than before.
The discount on the Evolute i-Pro sedan, which is produced at Motorinvest in the Lipetsk region, has been increased from 100 to 300 thousand; the discount on i-Joy increased from 155 to 895 thousand, on i-Sky – from 465 thousand to 1.2 million rubles, and on i-Jet – from 110 to 855 thousand. i-Space lost its discounts, but fell in price by 470-761 thousand.
As for Chinese brands, at least three of them – Geely, Belgee and Knewstar – managed to adjust prices several times for the winter. Geely’s seven models have increased in price. The Emgrand sedan in the “base” added 71,000 rubles, and in other trim levels – 26,000 each; Preface increased in price by 228,200-303,200 thousand rubles, depending on the level of execution; Coolray has risen in price by 143,200-159,200 rubles, although a direct discount of 125,000 rubles continues to apply to it; Cityray added 93,200-154,200 rubles; Atlas – 150,200 – 223,200 rubles, Okavango – 98,200-168,200 rubles, and Monjaro – 119,200-225,200 rubles.
The increase in price also affected the Knewstar 001, which added 277,200 rubles in the two older trim levels, and 367,200 rubles in the entry-level version.
The Belgee X50 crossover (aka the pre-restyling Geely Coolray) has become more expensive by 79,200 rubles in the two older trim levels, and the initial price has increased by 136,200 rubles over the month. Belgee X70 (Geely Atlas Pro) “heavier” by 153,200 rubles in the basic performance level, and 83,200 rubles in the rest.

One of Geely’s main competitors, the Chery brand, has adjusted the price list for Arrizo 8: in all four trim levels it has risen in price by 30,000 and now costs 2,730,000-3,160,000 rubles. The cost of Exeed LX in all versions except the base one has also increased by the same 30,000 rubles. The TXL has a similar increase, regardless of the level of equipment. But the RX in all trim levels, except the initial one, has risen in price by 80,000 rubles. The cost of VX in the “base” also increased by 80,000 rubles. “Chinese Cars” also drew attention to the fact that the price lists of the pre-restyling TXL and VX crossovers have disappeared from the Exeed website.
Omoda has also made changes: the updated C5 crossover has gone on sale, which costs from 2,519,900 to 3,259,900 rubles. It is 50-200 thousand rubles more expensive than the pre-restyling model. Jetour’s new X50 crossover has increased in price, but only in the top-end Luxury version – the increase was 50 thousand. On Dashing in the most expensive configuration, the direct discount has increased: from 200 to 280 thousand. This model also has an all-wheel drive modification, which costs from 3,649,000 to 3,799,000 rubles.
The third brand from the “big Chinese three”, Haval, did not raise prices, but, on the contrary, increased the direct discount on the M6 crossover (from now on it will be assembled at the former PSMA Rus plant in Kaluga) – it increased from 150,000 to 250,000 rubles . But the Tank 700 has risen in price by 100 thousand, the new price range for a premium SUV is from 8,999,000 to 11,999,000 rubles. At Wey, the 07 received an increase of 100,000, presented in a single configuration. It was joined by the Wey 80 minivan, which was estimated at 7,299,000-8,599,000 rubles.
GAC GS3 has risen in price by 50-100 thousand rubles, and GS8 – by 100 thousand rubles (at the same time, the basic configuration of the model can be purchased with a direct discount of the same 100 thousand). The M8 minivan can be purchased with a discount of up to 200 thousand rubles, but the discount applies only to the entry-level model.
Among those that went up in price was VGV, which was “registered” at the Kaliningrad “Avtotor”. The price of the U70 Pro and U75 Plus has increased by 50 thousand rubles.
Hongqi offers direct discounts on its models. Thus, the H5 sedan can be bought with a profit of 600 thousand, and the H9 crossover – for half a million rubles. There is a RUB 300,000 discount on HS3 and RUB 500,000 on HS5. When purchasing an electric E-HS9, you can save up to two million rubles.
The price of the hybrid Voyah Free EVR has dropped by 500 thousand, and now it costs 4,490,000 rubles, and the Free EVR Long Range, in turn, has become cheaper by 1.01 million (4,990,000 rubles).
